Manu Deu
Producer, Artist

Manu Deu is a musician and producer from Santiago, Chile. His career began with classical piano lessons at the age of 12. His early obsession with song creation led him to experiment in other genres such as rock, pop and electronic music, always with the piano and the voice as his main instruments. He released his first solo LP “Eclectic Fantastic” in December 2017, recorded and produced on his own studio. The LP currently has more 200,000 plays on Spotify. This album combined all the styles that influenced him until then, with artists like Mac DeMarco, Tame Impala, Lou Reed, Charly Garcia and Francis and the Lights, among many others. In December 2019 launches a new album in Spanish titled “Autosabotaje”. This second album collects a series of romantic moments within a Pop-Alternative universe with a retro-futuristic feel and aesthetic. The EP explores the different atmospheres throughout a relationship, from naivety and infatuation to disenchantment and madness, through classical instrumentation with brass and guitars, in combination with psychedelic synthesizers and modern effects. The album art was developed by himself, where he proposed a series of 6 style illustrated covers mid-century to narrate the protagonist's romantic journey. Both albums have been featured in a series of local stages in solo format and with a band.
